This week will be a big week for monetary policy with several central banks expected to make announcements. On Wednesday, the Federal Reserve is expected to raise the federal funds rate for the third time this year by 25 basis points to a range of 1.25 to 1.5%. Thursday will see key monetary policy updates from the European Central Bank, the Bank of England and the Swiss National Bank. In economic data, Octoberâ€™s JOLTS report will be released at 10am. The market is expecting job openings to increase to 6.1M openings in October.
